About Betty Bhandari
Hi. I am Betty Bhandari, the woman behind The Creative Collaboration lens. I have been a professional photographer since 2012 when I started my wedding photography business.
I am a German with an Indian surname through marriage (it is pronounced Ban-dah-ree) and moved to the UK in 2001. I worked as an architect in London for many years, but abandoned that after I had my first child in 2011. I am now a mother of two beautiful kids and wife of what I still think is the greatest man I have ever dated.
I have been a passionate portrait photographer since my late teens and I spent fifteen years dragging all my friends in front of my camera, before I made my new job official. My attic is full of analogue film that needs scanning at some point in my life.
I am a Nikon girl which is my dad’s fault because he had a Nikon FE2 which was the first camera I properly photographed with (I still have the camera). Today I am a registered professional Nikon user and only use the best cameras and lenses. I currently shoot with two Nikon z6ii cameras.
Other things worth knowing are that I am totally bilingual, very organised (still German), honest (sometimes too honest I’ve been told), sociable and I love to help people and businesses.
I am also a passionate gardener with an allotment, I love to cook and I eat something homemade or homegrown every single day.

It was great to work with Betty Bhandari to update my profile photos as the editor and owner of The Bath & Wiltshire Parent. Wow is The Creative Collaboration a fantastic photographer! What a great experience and 9 fantastic photos of me, which I was not expecting. A big thank you to Betty as I was nervous before the mini-photo shoot.
